Playgroup
Everyone is welcome to attend either or both of our wonderful Playgroups!
You don't have to be a Leighland family to attend. We love to see new faces.
Both our Playgroups are warm and inviting, with lots of free play time, crafts, painting, outside activities, stories and music. We often visit different parts of the school to help familiarise parents and children with more places and have Teachers visit at storytime so everyone feels at home. We are blessed to have Mrs Polden often drop in for special music and singing!
Both our Playgroups are FREE.
Simply bring a snack, drink bottle, jacket for the colder months and a hat for the summer.
Come to the front office and our staff will be more than happy to direct you.

Little learners explore the world around them using their five senses: seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and smelling. At Little Learners Playgroup, students will visit the Leighland library, perform science experiments, play inside and outside, sing and listen to music, engage with art and craft, and make new friends.
Bright Horizons
Thursdays 9.00am - 10.30am during the school term
A nature-based playgroup.
The focus at Bright Horizons will be on exploring the world around us and appreciating God’s creation. Nature play provides children with opportunities to discover and classify different colours, textures, smells, temperatures and other different aspects of nature. It builds their Imagination, creativity and problem-solving skills. Each week children will explore activities related to the term’s theme (Seasons) and have opportunities to play and create a craft or art piece to take home.
