Parents in Partnership

"Parents in Partnership is a team of parents that work together because of their love for the children of Leighland Christian School.  Children love seeing their parents involved in the School and have opportunities to help in all of the activities.  I see my own children enjoying my involvement and growing in their willingness to help and serve others".  PIP Coordinator, Burnie Campus

"PIP is a parent body who partner with the school to grow and foster a close knit cooperative school community. There are lots of activities you can become involved in and it is a good way of getting to know staff and other parents within the school.  First and foremost we are about relationships and we have a lot of laughs (and cuppa's).  New members are very welcome.  PIP Committee, Ulverstone

PIP stands for Parents in Partnership.  This is the name of our active Parent group at Leighland.  Each campus has a PIP group which hold regular meetings throughout the School term.  The key focus of this group is to support school families by providing events such as parent evenings, lunch support eg 'hot lunches' and community events.  From time to time PIP will also hold fundraising events eg Book Fairs etc.

Getting involved with PIP is a great way to connect with your child's education.  It's a chance to get together with other parents and guardians to build positive experiences, grow resources and encourage two-way communication through a sense of community.

New members are very welcome with meetings held regularly throughout the term.  Come along and get to know other parents and build your friendships too.

Meetings are advertised in the school newsletters.
